In 1828 a Parliamentary church was built on the site of the present church to the standard design of Thomas Telford - see also Kinlochspelve and Iona. A Manse also built which is a private house now known as Mansefield. 1890 the church hall was added. 1895 old church demolished and existing Victorian Gothic style building erected.
