Comments :
There are four low segmental spans outlined by dressed stone voussoirs and an archivolt, although the rest of the bridge is coursed rubble, excepting the cutwaters and the pier footings. The piers extend up into rectangular towers which make shallow refuges. The main spans are approximately 33 feet but the arch nearest the left bank is lower than the other three. The abutments are not symmetrical but both join the spandrels at an unusual sharp angle and with a corbelled stone set crosswise. The parapet has a flat top, with some coping stones being concrete replacements, but the old ones are liberally inscribed with initials and dates, some quite old. [1]
