Clapper Bridge over Allt Beithe, Aultbea

It is a sturdy bridge with rough stones placed in seven unequally sized arches, the final one on the right bank being at a skew and so longer than the others. The approximate size of a pier is 4 feet high, and 2 feet 6 inches wide. The spans approximately 3 feet and the length of each tunnel, that is the road with and the parapets, is above 15 feet. The 2 feet parapet is almost certainly a later addition. [1]
