There are nine stone arches with narrow, slightly splay-footed piers and brick vaults. The maximum height of these spans is 88 feet 8 inches and they vary in width between 33 feet and 36 feet. Lime deposits have whitened the stone in places, which only serves to underline the good looks of the lofty bridge. [1]
